Transfer audio from old cassettes, vinyl records and CDs to high resolution WAV and mp3 files that can then be saved to a USB stick, CDR or made available for download.

You can have a straight transfer of the original audio or I can use Steinberg’s Spectralayers Pro and Izotope audio restoration software for noise, click and scratch removal. There is also the option to enhance/re-master and even to re-mix the audio using the latest in un-mixing software.

Using a high quality dual capstan, 3 head cassette deck by Denon for cassette transfers for Ferric, Chrome and Metal tapes. I am also able to decode tapes originally recorded with Dolby B or C.

Steinberg’s Spectralayers Pro, plus Izotope’s audio repair tools are perfect for cleaning up noise and crackles from vinyl and cassettes. It also gives the ability to “un-mix” old recordings into separate tracks for re-mixing and re-mastering and for adding new parts to old music projects and demos.

Vinyl is transferred using a high quality TEAC TN 300 record deck for 33 and 45 rpm records.

In the future I intend to expand this facility to include DAT tape, Minidisc and open reel tapes transfers.
